The Yamaha RX-V765 is a 7.2 channel a/v receiver supporting video upconversion up to 1080p and HD audio decoding. It has similar specifications to the Yamaha RX-V663 but has 3 HDMI inputs instead of 2, and is a rated for 105 Watts / channel as compared to 95 Watts / channel. However, the most significant difference between the RX-V765 and RX-V663 is that the RX-V765 upscales video sources to up to 1080p, whereas the RX-V663 merely transcodes the video sources to HDMI and component.

The V1900 adds HD radio, Bluetooth (A2DP, with optional YBA-10 wireless adapter), Sirius radio, and 8-point YPAO automatic system calibration.
