In August of 2009, Digitainment partnered with California House, a custom furniture builder out of Sacramento.
 
After years of designing cabinets for customers so they could get bids on “properly designed” cabinets and watching local cabinet makers charge way too much and take way to long to complete jobs, we decided to find a company that could provide the quality, timely delivery and great pricing.  In August of 2009, Digitainment partnered with California House, a custom furniture builder out of Sacramento.
 
All their cabinets are made from real hardwood not particle board or softwood with hard wood veneers, REAL HARDWOOD!  Cherry, Mahogany, Maple, Oak, Walnut, etc.
 
The construction of their cabinets is nothing like a local cabinet maker that builds a box with a face frame, orders doors from a door factory, assembles on site and nail guns in top and bottom trim.  These pieces are cut using CNC machine out of real hardwood and assembled using real furniture techniques like butterfly joints, angled drilled screws to attach trim pieces, convection cooling ventilation system, recessed lighting with a host of reasonably priced options like soft close door and drawer hinges, wood framed glass shelves, and most importantly catalyzed finishes that are so hard you can draw on them with a Sharpie and wipe it off with acetone!
 
With 5 major styles of cabinetry and 40 finishes to choose and complete freedom to design whatever specifications the customer desires, this partnership allows Digitainment to better serve the needs of it’s customers with high quality, 6 week turn around, custom design and great prices.
